PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. — Piazza Pizza (piazzapizzapensacolabeach.com) has officially opened inside the Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach, giving visitors and locals the option of fresh, fast, and delicious pizza delivery anywhere on the island.
Currently open 11 a.m to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with extended hours coming soon, Piazza Pizza serves made-from-scratch New York-style pies that are big on flavor and easy on the wallet. All pizzas are 14-inches round and start with Piazza Pizza’s housemade dough and old-style red sauce.
Layers of all-natural ingredients like thin-sliced pepperoni, fresh-torn basil, Saputo Gold whole-milk mozzarella, oven-roasted chicken, and Florida tomatoes top the pies before they’re delivered piping hot to your door. Customers have been loving Piazza Pizza’s specialty pies like the Spicy Hawaiian: sweet pineapple and spicy jalapeño coupled with crumbled bacon and a touch of cream cheese.
“It’s one of those pizza combinations that surprises people when they see it, but then it delights their taste buds and they can’t get enough,” said Piazza Pizza Chef Jim Carruth, a Pensacola native whose kitchen experience includes Jackson’s Steakhouse in Pensacola, Portofino Resort on Pensacola Beach, and the world-renowned Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. “We created each pizza we serve with our guests’ tastes in mind, and we’re proud of all of them. The restaurant offers a 20% discount for all first responders.
While Piazza Pizza is open for pick-up and delivery only at this time, an on-site dine-in option will be available once Gilligan’s Tiki Bar reopens at the Hampton Inn. A Grand Opening event for Piazza Pizza is coming this summer.
